Google en Español


This is a screen shot of the Google home Page set in Spanish. Setting google in Spanish is a great way to start of your Internet based Emerson. It enables you set your gmail in spanish as well as all the other web pages that google manages. Even your google searches will be in all or partial Spanish!

iGoogle en Esapñol


When you set your google in Spanish, your personal igoogle account gets set to Spanish as well. This challenges you to re-learn all your personal settings.

HOW TO SET YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE IN SPANISH:
Make sure you are on the Facebook Home Page
1. Go to Account Settings
2. Click on the Language Tab
3. Set it to Español

If you have a Facebook account, you probably check it daily. So, setting your Facebook account to Spanish is a great way to learn the language. It forces you to learn Spanish vocabulary because you have to know how to manage your account. This is a fun and easy way to learn a new language. You don't have to drill yourself on vocabulary, to learn it. By seeing the same words in the same context day after day, you immerse yourself in Spanish without even realizing it.

This is a screen shot of my Facebook home page set in Spanish. The Facebook Spanish vocabulary has a lot of cognates, so you'll learn lots of Spanish vocabulary in no time!

After setting my google and other internet accounts in Spanish, I was eager to take the next step. So, I set my entire computer in Spanish. Above is a screen shot of my computer desktop, with my system preferences application open. Many of your computers applications automatically get set to Spanish as well. It was a fun challenge to re-learn how to use my applications.
